About Me

My name is Allison Carter, and I am a costume designer and seamstress located in the western suburbs of the Chicagoland area. I recently graduated from Michigan State University with a BFA in Costume Design and am eager to get to see where my creative career takes me next.

Ever since I was little, I have always been intrigued by costume design. I would often catch myself paying great attention to the details of the costumes I saw both on stage and on screen. The Star Wars prequels and original trilogy in particular inspired my passion for costuming at an early age. It wasn't until attending university that I realized this passion could become my career.

It brings me great joy to be able to bring this dream to life. I love to tell stories in my designs through color and attention to details, and I always try to approach each new project with a fresh and unique perspective. I take great pride in my work and I am excited to see what the future has in store!
